| In homage to
Alfred Nobel, who spent his final years in Sanremo, Italy,
where he died on December 10, 1896, every year the city of
Sanremo sends flowers to decorate the Stockholm Concert Hall
and City Hall. This year the flower arrangements at the Nobel
Banquet were dominated by lilies, roses, calla lilies and
