The Queen's Gowns

Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden started gracing the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony in 1976, the year she married His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. Dressed in fabulous gowns, the Queen lends a dash of colour to an otherwise somber stage at the Stockholm City Hall, often dominated by male participants in their black and white tails.
