The Ear Pages - Help

Aim of the game:

In this educational game you can discover how our ears detect sounds. In the first stage, you can explore background information to learn how our hearing function and the Nobel prize awarded discoveries in this field. When you feel ready to test your knowledge on the outer, middle and inner ear, click on “Quiz” in the upper right corner. You can choose between three levels – beginner, advanced and expert level, all consisting of nine questions. Get all the answers correct and you will be listed on the "Highscore of the week" list!

You don’t get points for collecting the snail shaped symbols of the cochlea, but you can use them to get another chance to answer a question you answered incorrectly.

Click on the snail-shaped symbols of the cochlea whenever they appear – you won't get any points, but you can use these in the quiz to get another chance to answer a question you answered incorrectly.

Click on the different headers under "The Ear" to find out about the hearing process.

Click on "Georg von Békésy" to find out more about his Nobel Prize awarded research on the hearing functions.

Choose a quiz level by clicking on "Beginner", "Expert", or "Advanced".

In the upper left corner you can see how many questions you have answered.
Click on the arrow in the right bottom corner to see the next question.

If your answer a question incorrectly, you can click on any of the snail shaped symbols
that you have collected to have another chance to answer the question without losing any points.
