How to
Play |
| |
 |
1. To start the blood typing
procedure, click on one of the patients.
|
| |
 |
2. Move the
cursor across the test tubes under "blood typing kit"
to take a closer look at their contents.
|
| |
 |
3.
To get the patient's blood, take the syringe by using
the mouse and drop it on the patient's arm. The
syringe will now be filled with blood.
|
| |
 |
4. Drag the syringe back to the
test tubes in the blood typing kit and fill the three
test tubes with blood by dropping the syringe on each
tube. |
| |
 |
5. The blood
will react with the different antibodies in the tubes
according to the patient's blood type. The blood can
react with the antibody in the tube by clotting, or
it will remain the same.
|
| |
 |
6. Move the cursor across the
tubes to take a closer look at their contents. You will
find out about the patient's blood type by knowing the
contents of the test tubes! |
| |
 |
7. To start all
over again, click on "reset tubes". Do the same
procedure if you want to take a look at the contents
in the tubes before you drop the blood into
them.
|
| |
 |
8.
If the blood in the A-test tube
clots, you can be sure that the patient's red blood
cells have A-antigens on its surface. If the blood
clots in the B-test tube, the blood has B-antigens.
If the blood clots in the Rh-test tube, the blood has
Rh-antigens.
|
| |
 |
9.
Move the cursor across the blood bags to the left to
take a look at what the different blood groups
consist of. The blood bags reveal the kind of
antigens found in a particular blood type.
Or read the "Introduction" (you can reach it
from the game's start page).
|
| |
 |
10. Give the
patient blood transfusion by taking one of the blood
bags with the cursor. Move the bag to the top of the
blood bag rack.
|
| |
 |
11. When the
patient has received enough blood, take care of the
next patient by clicking on the "next patient" sign
in the speech bubble.
|
| |
 |
12. When all
three patients have received their blood
transfusions, click on the "party sign" in the speech
bubble for evaluation.
