The Techville Game – Walk Through

   

If you use the walk through, you will lose some of the fun! Use the walk through only when you get stuck, then continue playing the game unassisted.

 

Start
1.
Begin the game outside the Techville Museum of Science and Technology.

2.
Enter the museum.

 

The Museum
3.
Talk to the lady behind the counter to get hired at the museum.

 

4.
Your first task as a new employee is to talk to the visitors of the museum. They are two men. One of them is doing a quiz where the first prize is an old arcade machine. He is obsessed by the quiz and won't let you try it.

5.
Talk to both men to get them to leave the museum.

 

6.
Now try the quiz yourself. Answer five questions about facts from the exhibition. If you have problems you can find the answers in the museum exhibition.

7.
If you get at least four quiz questions right, you win the old arcade machine. Store it in your inventory (the inventory icon at the top right) for later use.

 

8.
Now you should talk to the lady who hired you to give you a new task. If you try to leave without talking to her, she will talk to you automatically.

9.
Your new task is to go to the factory and pick up an ultra modern circuit that's going to be included in the exhibition.

 

Outside the Factory
10.
Go out of the museum and follow the path. When you arrive at the factory, you will find the large man from the museum guarding the entrance. The door is broken and the man won't let you in.

 

 

11.
If you look at the wall next to him, you will see an electrical socket. Drag the arcade you won at the museum from the inventory and drop it on the socket.

   12.
The large man will start playing the game instead of guarding the door. Use the door to enter.
 

The Factory - First Visit

In the factory you will find a man that is tied up. Untie him.

 

   14.
Talk to him then go through the portal.
 

Kilby's Lab
15.
The portal takes you through time, back to Kilby's Lab in the year 1958. When you arrive, you see the old man from the museum. He is casting a spell over Kilby's chair so that it will send Kilby back in time the moment he uses it. Talk to the old man.

 

 

16.
You realize that he is mad and must be dealt with. Pull the carpet he is standing on from under his feet so that he falls onto the chair. When the old man falls onto the chair he is sent back in time. At the same time he drops his bag with magic powder.

 

 

17.
The bag is too dangerous to leave behind. Pick up the bag so that you can dispose of it later. Now go back through the portal. You will be transported to the factory in present time.

 

The Factory - Second Visit
18.
Talk to the manager twice. Ask him about the chip. The manager is in shock from the incident and isn't sure that he can trust you.

   19.
Use the computer and solve a puzzle on how an integrated circuit is made to make him believe you're a person from the technical museum.
 

20.
When you have solved the puzzle, the manager says that you can go and pick up the circuit from the clean room.

21.
To enter a clean room you need protective clothing. Use the protective "bunny" suit that is hanging near the clean room door.

 

22.
This will trigger the final scene. Enjoy!


23.
If you want, you can try the arcade machine from the game at the end.
