The Nobel Lecture in Literature was delivered on Friday 7 December at the Swedish Academy, Stockholm, by Nicholas Pearson, Doris Lessing's publisher in the UK. He was introduced by Horace Engdahl, Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy.
