The Nobel Banquet 2002

A Summary

Watch a video summary of the Nobel Banquet on 10 December 2002, starting inside the Stockholm City Hall in Sweden, where the distinguished guests arrive and walk in a procession to the Blue Hall. Champagne is served. The banquet guests are entertained by the contemporary circus group Cirkus Cirkör (3:44). The main course is served at the end of the performance (4:51). Banquet speeches are given by the 2002 Laureates: Sydney Brenner, Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine (6:28), John B. Fenn, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry (11:13) and Riccardo Giacconi, Nobel Laureate in Physics (14:46). The after dinner dancing takes place in the Golden Hall (17:42).
