John Daniel Fürstenberg Lyng got
his law degree in 1927. In the 1930s he was engaged in
local politics in Trondheim. During the German occupation
of Norway in 1940-1945, he took refuge in Sweden and after
the war became public prosecutor in a number of trials
against leading traitors in Norway. In 1947 he became
barrister at the Norwegian Supreme Court. |
