Nobel Literature Laureate Toni Morrison

There is great excitement in the air when representatives of the world press gather at the Swedish Academy in the Stockholm Stock Exchange building, to hear the Permanent Secretary announce who has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. The room hums with voices until the clock strikes one and the tall white door opens. Immediate silence - you could hear a pin drop. When the name has been revealed the noise level rises again with a shower of questions.

This is the second time Sweden Post Stamps issues Nobel stamps with the Literature Laureate of the year.
