The Nobel Stamps

No Nobel stamps were issued by Sweden Post (Posten) in 2005. This year, Sweden Post issued two stamp designs containing a portrait of Dag Hammarskjöld and the waving United Nations flag. Dag Hammarskjöld was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize posthumously in 1961. The stamp is in commemoration of the former United Nations Secretary-General, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year.
