The 2008 Nobel Prize Concert offered a fantastic collection of performers; Sir John Eliot Gardiner and the Monteverdi Choir, together with the Eric Ericson Chamber Choir and the soloists Miah Persson soprano, Ann Hallenberg alto, Helge Rönning tenor and Peter Mattei bass.
The orchestra was the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. The program included Dvořák's Symphony nr 7 and Mozart’s mass in C minor.
In cooperation with Euro Arts, Nobel Media produces an approximately two-hour TV program showing the full 2008 Nobel Prize Concert and featuring interviews with the Nobel Laureates, the conductor, the soloists etc. This program was broadcasted direct in Sweden as well as distributed internationally, reaching a large audience. The concert is also broadcasted by radio through SR / EBU to around 20 countries.
