The conflict data were adapted for the map by Dag Axel Kristoffersen, the Norwegian Nobel Institute, who has also written "Wars in the 20th Century and Nobel Peace Prize Statistics." Statistics on the Peace Prize were compiled by Sølvi Glendrange and Øyvind Tønnesson, the Norwegian Nobel Institute.
