Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Pedro Wongtschowski is a chemical engineer with an MSc and PhD from the University of São Paulo. He has an extensive career as a business executive in major Brazilian public companies.

Pedro Wongtschowski is a member of the board of governors of Technion (Israel) and a member of the advisory board of the Global Innovation Index (Switzerland).

He is a member of the board of directors of several private and public companies in Brazil and of several organizations in the areas of science, technology and innovation.
