Cila Myburgh
Cila Myburgh is the Director of enrolment and student administration at the University of Pretoria, where she oversees student systems, student administration, recruitment and enrolments, student and customer services as well as career services.

She holds a BCom (Bachelor of Commerce), BCom (Hons), MCom in Human Resources Management and a PhD in Industrial Psychology. She is a registered industrial psychologist at the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), a statutory body established in terms of the Health Professions Act 56 of 1974.
Cila has gained extensive experience in the higher education sector in South Africa and is recognised as an expert on higher education enrolment management and admissions. Since 2017, she has been a board member of the South African Joint Admissions Committee of USAf (Universities South Africa), responsible for advising the Minister of Higher Education and Training on admissions policies, practices and regulations.
In 2018 she was appointed by the Minister of Basic Education as a member of the Council for General and Further Education and Training Quality Assurance (UMALUSI). In addition to being a council member, Cila is chairperson of the ICT Committee of Council (ICTOC) as well as chairperson of the Accreditation Committee of Council (ACC) at UMALUSI.
Passionate about the Future World of Work, Cila is a part-time lecturer for Human Resources Masters students on the Future World of Work, and involved with supervising masters and doctoral research students on Future World of Work at the University of Pretoria. She is also a member of the University of Pretoria’s Future of Work Think Tank, driving the institutional commitment to enhancing all our offerings in this field.
