Tumeka Matshoba

Tumeka Matshoba-Ramuedzisi is an academic and a business woman who runs an auditing and accounting firm based in South Africa. Professionally, she is a Chartered Accountant (SA) registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and a Registered Auditor with the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA).

After completing her training contract at one of the global audit firms, she spent six years lecturing at the University of Johannesburg in the Department of Accountancy. She was a Senior Lecturer in Auditing and during that time also furthered her studies and obtained a Master of Commerce degree specialising in Computer Auditing. In 2014, she studied and completed an Advanced Certificate in Company Law II from the University of the Witwatersrand. She has recently graduated with a PhD (with a specialisation in Leadership) from the University of Pretoria at the Albert Luthuli Leadership Institute. Her area of interest is followership, with a special focus on follower implicit followership theories and followership schema.
