Nobel Prize Dialogue
The Future of Learning
19 January 2019, Santiago
The Nobel Prize Dialogue in Santiago, Chile brought together Nobel Laureates, including Bruce Beutler, Serge Haroche, Michael Kosterlitz and Brian Schmidt, with world-leading scientists, policy makers and thought leaders to put the spotlight on the future of learning.
We learn throughout our lives. We learn to adapt to change. We learn to learn. Can we be inspired to learn and find pleasure in it? Can teachers nudge us to find that thrill? And can technology help us in our endeavour, or does it limit our attention?
How much are we and our societies willing to invest in learning? It is worth the time and money and who is paying? By studying our brains, we try to understand how we learn today. How will we learn in the future?
