Tamar Krishnamurti is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Pittsburgh. She is the co-founder and CEO of Naima Health.

Tamar Krishnamurti is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Pittsburgh. Krishnamurti’s interests include risk perception and communication and the design of decision support tools and behavioral interventions. She has conducted research in diverse domains, including pregnancy, sexual and reproductive health, addiction, informed consent, and environmentally-conscious behavior. Krishnamurti is the recipient of the 2021 Kuno Award for Applied Science for the Social Good, which is supporting her work to create and evaluate mobile health platforms to provide personalised maternal risk information to patients and their healthcare providers. She is also the co-founder and CEO of Naima Health, a company that develops health tools using behavioural decision science and machine learning to engage patients in their clinical care.
