Kim Stanley Robinson is an American science fiction writer, best known for his Mars trilogy, Red Mars, Green Mars, and Blue Mars. He was sent to Antarctica by the U.S. National Science Foundation in 1995 and 2016, and is an advisor to the Clarion Writers’ Workshop and the Sierra Nevada Research Foundation. His most recent novel is ‘The Ministry for the Future’.
