Lyne Odhiambo is part of Zero Hour, a youth-led climate and social justice organisation. At 18 years old, Odhiambo (they/them) is the co-creator of the Time to Heal campaign, which aims to build community and help relieve collective trauma through art therapy sessions. Odhiambo works on Zero Hour’s press team to expand media coverage of climate stories and frontline youth worldwide as part of the No Youth, No Truth campaign. They serve as a Global Outreach Coordinator for Zero Hour chapters and recruit young people to their local Sunrise Hub, an organisation that advocates political action on climate change. Odhiambo’s work stems from the need to imagine a world beyond the limitations of oppression.
