Theresa Kotanchek is the Chief Executive Officer of Evolved Analytics LLC
Theresa Kotanchek is the Chief Executive Officer of Evolved Analytics LLC, a data science and augmented intelligence software and solutions provider. Prior to assuming her current role, Kotanchek spent 23 years in executive and leadership positions at The Dow Chemical Company, including as the Vice President for Sustainable Technologies, Innovation Sourcing and Information Research (2010–2013), Chief Technology Officer of Dow Chemical China Company Limited (2006–2010), Global Business Director of Dow Ventures (2003–2005), Global Research and Development Director of Dow Plastics (2000–2003), and Corporate Director of Materials Science and Engineering (1998–2000). Kotanchek holds a Ph.D. in materials science, an M.S. in ceramic science, and a B.S. in ceramic science and Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. She has published more than 100 technical articles, holds 6 US patents, and has given more than 200 invited talks. In 2011–2012, Kotanchek served as the industrial lead and working group Co-Chair of President Obama’s Advanced Manufacturing Partnership, which resulted in the launch and creation of a national network of 14 manufacturing institutes. She is currently the Chair of the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s National Materials and Manufacturing Board. She also serves on numerous external boards, including the National Science Foundation’s Engineering Research Center for Cell Manufacturing Technologies and Georgia Tech’s Manufacturing Institute.
