Cognitive neuroscientist Martin Ingvar is the Barbro and Bernard Osher professor of integrative medicine at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, Karolinska Institutet.

Martin Ingvar, MD, PhD, is the Barbro and Bernard Osher professor of integrative medicine at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, Karolinska Institutet.

His cognitive neuroscience research is focused on human health-seeking behaviour and healthcare delivery in chronic disorders where compliance regarding treatment advice is crucial as well as lasting modification of lifestyle. The road from learning to lasting modification of behaviour is a core interest.

Ingvar has authored and co-authored some 300 academic papers and a dozen books, including some on popular science and behavioural modification.
