Daniel Urquijo is a youth fellow at the International Youth Think Tank. He holds a master in Political Economy from King’s College London, where he researched the impact of growing up during the apartheid era on individuals’ long-term democratic attitudes in South Africa. He is interested in political behaviour and economic history, specifically the formation, dissemination, and updating of beliefs and ideas.
As a youth fellow, he has co-authored a policy brief on Community Assemblies as a means to tackle democratic disenchantment. Passionate about innovation, he believes in the need to modernise democratic processes and adapt them to the needs of the 21st century citizenry.
