What is the Nobel Week Dialogue?
The Nobel Week Dialogue is an annual science conference on 9 December in Nobel Week. The goal of the event is to bring together a select group of the world's leading scientists, policy-makers and thinkers for a series of thought-provoking sessions and working groups on a topical science-related theme. With this event the Nobel Institutions aim to deepen the dialogue between the scientific community and the rest of society on issues connected with the Nobel Prize and of importance for the world.

How can I participate?
The Nobel Week Dialogue is free to attend and registration for the meeting will open in October. You can also participate online. In order to extend the reach of the meeting beyond the live audience in Gothenburg, the proceedings will be streamed to a worldwide online audience, as well as recorded for posting as video on demand and subsequent TV broadcast.

All expenses incurred in relation to attending the Nobel Week Dialogue as an audience member are the sole responsibility of the potential attendee. Please be aware that it is also the potential attendee's responsibility to investigate the visa requirements for entry to Sweden and to apply for a visa, if necessary. Those who require an entry visa are encouraged to allow sufficient time for the application procedure.

Yes, by viewing the meeting online. The videos are hosted on YouTube, so you won't need any special software to view the event. The videos can also be streamed on mobile devices. You can also follow us on Twitter and don't forget to use the hashtag #NobelPrizeDialogue.
Can I arrive late to the event?
Since the number of seats are limited, and registrations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, we can't guarantee your seat if you arrive later than 09:30. However, sometimes there are openings during the day if participants leave.

Can I present my work at the Nobel Week Dialogue?
No, only invited speakers will present at the Nobel Week Dialogue.
Will the meeting be in English or Swedish?
The entire meeting is held in English.
