Nancy Clark is a renowned sports nutritionist, registered dietitian, and certified specialist in sports dietetics.

Nancy Clark is a renowned sports nutritionist, registered dietitian, and certified specialist in sports dietetics. During her career, she has counselled athletes at all levels, from casual exercisers to Olympians. Clark has served as the team nutritionist for the Boston Red Sox and was sought out to design menus for challenging sports events, including a Himalayan expedition and a TransAtlantic rowing competition. Her expertise even earned her a place on the Wheaties “Breakfast of Champions” cereal box!

A pioneer in the sports nutrition field, Nancy played a key role in integrating sports dietetics as an essential component of athletic training. Her leadership was recognised with the prestigious Medallion Award from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She also serves on the Executive Board of Professionals in Nutrition for Exercise and Sport (PINES), working to elevate sports nutrition globally.

Clark is the author of the best-selling Nancy Clark’s Sports Nutrition Guidebook, now in its 6th edition and translated into seven languages. Her book and monthly column, The Athlete’s Kitchen, have earned her Media Excellence Awards from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the American Society for Nutrition. An athlete herself, Nancy has run marathons and bicycled across the United States.
