Yves Chauvin held his Nobel Lecture December 8, 2005, at Aula Magna, Stockholm University. The lecture was called “Appliquée ou fondamentale, la recherche est une question de curiosité” and held in French. He was presented by Professor Håkan Wennerström, Chairman of the Nobel Committee for Chemistry.
