“Anita Krishnamurthi will bring new perspectives and valuable knowledge to our work of reaching out to young people. Through the digital programmes and meetings organised by Nobel Prize Outreach, we want people to engage in solving the challenges facing our societies. Inspiring and spreading knowledge about the discoveries and achievements awarded with the Nobel Prize is central to our work,” says Vidar Helgesen, Executive Director of the Nobel Foundation and Chairman of Nobel Prize Outreach.

Anita Krishnamurthi most recently served as Head of Education and Learning at Wellcome Trust, a global health philanthropy based in London. “I am delighted to have this opportunity to support the work of Nobel Prize Outreach. We have a unique platform to promote multi-disciplinary and pluralistic ways of thinking and acting due to the broad scope of the Nobel Prize awards. I look forward to working with the team and the Board on efforts to engage with people across the world,” says Anita Krishnamurthi.
