Capgemini joins the select group of Nobel International Partners. The partnership is for at least three years and aims to share knowledge, inspire people to contribute to a better world and shed light on our time’s greatest challenges.
“Capgemini and Nobel Prize Outreach share the same vision of innovation as the foundation of a more sustainable and inclusive future for all,” says Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini. “I am looking forward to this opportunity to join forces with them to support research and innovation, to inspire more people all over the world, and turn ideas into action.”
Nobel Prize Outreach extends the reach of the Nobel Prize to millions of people around the world through inspirational events, digital media and special exhibitions and activities related to the legacy of Alfred Nobel and the achievements of the Nobel Prize laureates. A select group of Nobel International Partners collaborate with Nobel Prize Outreach to bring light to important global issues, like the future of scientific education and sustainability.
“The partnership with Capgemini will allow the ideas and knowledge that have been recognised and awarded with the Nobel Prize to reach a wider audience,” says Laura Sprechmann, CEO of Nobel Prize Outreach. “To take on our time’s greatest challenges we need to strengthen the ties between the business community, policy makers and the science community.”
The Nobel Prize Dialogue format is at the core of the partnership – regular events that bring together Nobel Prize laureates, world-leading scientists, policy makers, students and thought leaders to discuss global issues that affect us all. These events are created to deepen the dialogue between the scientific community and the rest of society. The next Nobel Prize Dialogue will happen on 16 November. Entitled “United by Science”, this session will bring together five Nobel Prize laureates and 80 students from across the Latin America and the Caribbean. The focus is to explore how science and scientists can most effectively make a positive impact on society. https://www.nobelprize.org/events/nobel-prize-dialogue/latin-america-2021/
The Nobel International Partners are 3M, ABB, Capgemini, Ericsson and Scania.
