Global Access Partners and Nobel Prize Outreach plan for Sydney Dialogue

The Nobel Prize Dialogue will be held in Australia for the first time, with a virtual pre-event in 2023 and a major public conference in Sydney in 2024.

“Global Access Partners and Nobel Prize Outreach believe that bringing people together to share ideas and expertise and question how we want our future to be can result in real and lasting positive change for us all”, says Catherine Fritz-Kalish, co-founder and managing director of GAP.

“It is an honour for Global Access Partners to be a Collaborating Partner of Nobel Prize Outreach for the Sydney Dialogue. I am looking forward to working with them on bringing the Nobel Prize Dialogue to Australia for the first time and building on the existing legacy of collaboration and inspiration between science and citizens.”

Nobel Prize Outreach extends the reach of the Nobel Prize to millions of people around the world through inspirational events, digital media and special exhibitions and activities related to the legacy of Alfred Nobel and the achievements of the Nobel Prize laureates. 

“The fundamental objective of these discussions, led by Nobel Prize laureates and world-leading experts and including contributions from the local and global audience, is to expose participants to a highly stimulating variety of ideas”, she said.

“By so doing, we hope to encourage interest and galvanise further thinking, inspiring specialists and non-specialists alike to learn more and get actively involved.”

The Nobel Prize Dialogue Sydney 2023-24 will explore the theme of “The Future of Decision Making”.

The format of the Sydney Dialogue is also a first. It will see a two-year journey designed to create lasting impact, combining virtual and in-person events and a year-long group collaboration.

Discussions will be facilitated through GAP’s Second Track process – an innovative approach to group collaboration focusing on positive thinking, long-term engagement, and personal interest in achieving results.
