What does truth mean? Can we trust science? Can the truth change? These and many more questions will be discussed during Nobel Week Dialogue on 9 December 2017 in Gothenburg. Registration for the event opens today at www.nobelprize.org/future-of-truth.
Nobel Week Dialogue is an open and free of charge event where science meets society during the Nobel Week celebrations. This unique dialogue invites audiences online and on-site to explore an important topic, and gathers a unique panel of Nobel Laureates and world-leading experts. The dialogue aims at inspiring people to seek knowledge, to ask questions and to understand and improve the world.

During this year’s dialogue, we will approach the theme from a diversity of angles such as economics, media, politics, philosophy, science and culture together with Nobel Laureates and other leading experts. I think the day will both be inspiring and give the audience new experiences,” says Mattias Fyrenius, CEO of Nobel Media.
Seven Nobel Laureates have already signed up for the event including Daniel Kahneman (Economic Sciences 2002), Peter Doherty (Physiology or Medicine 1996), David Gross (Physics 2004) and Joseph Stiglitz (Economic Sciences 2001).
