Announcement of the Nobel Prize in Literature 2024 to Han Kang by Mats Malm, Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy, on 10 October 2024. After the announcement Anders Olsson, chair of the Nobel Committee for Literature, presented the new laureate.

Following the announcement, Anna-Karin Palm, co-opted member of the Nobel Committee for Literature, was interviewed by the Nobel Prize Museum’s Carin Klaesson about the 2024 Nobel Prize in Literature to Han Kang.
