Announcement of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine to Mario R. Capecchi, Sir Martin J. Evans and Oliver Smithies, presented by Professor Hans Jörnvall, Secretary of the Nobel Committee for Physiology or Medicine, on 8 October 2007.

A presentation of the prize-awarded work was held by Professor Christer Betsholtz.
