Watch a video clip of the awarding of the 1991 Nobel Peace Prize medal and diploma to Aung San Suu Kyi at the Oslo City Hall in Norway, 10 December 1991. As the Laureate was absent, the medal and diploma were accepted by her husband Michael Aris and her sons Alexander and Kim Aris. The acceptance speech was delivered on behalf of Aung San Suu Kyi by her 18-year old son, Alexander Aris.
