Accreditation for the Nobel Day 2024

Media representatives wishing to apply to attend the Nobel Prize award ceremony and banquet in Stockholm and in Oslo on 10 December can find more information and links on this page.

Since 1901, Nobel Prize laureates have received their diplomas and medals at ceremonies in Stockholm and Oslo. The Nobel Day, 10 December, begins with the award ceremony for the year’s Nobel Peace Prize laureates in Oslo. This will be followed by the award ceremony in Stockholm for the laureates in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and economic sciences. In the evening, there will be banquets in both Oslo and Stockholm to celebrate this year’s laureates.

Accreditation form for media representatives who wish to attend the award ceremony in Oslo on 10 December will open shortly.

An application does not automatically mean that you will get a place.

The banquet in Norway may only be attended by media representatives who have been invited.

Stockholm

An application form is available for journalists who wish to be accredited to attend the award ceremony and banquet in Stockholm on 10 December. An application does not automatically mean that you will get a place. The application deadline is 6 November. Decisions will be announced on 13 November.

During the Nobel Week in December, press conferences, lectures and other events are being organised, to which media representatives can obtain accreditation. More information about the Nobel Week programme in Stockholm and Oslo will be published at late October on.
